Symptoms
When installing or upgrading adTempus on a computer where a valid license, the adTempus installer indicates that no valid license is present.
Workaround
If a valid license is present, select the option to "Start a 30-day trial." After installation the adTempus software will correctly recognize the license and will use that rather than running in evaluation mode.
To confirm that the software is using the correct license, run the adTempus Console and connect to the server. Select Help>About from the main menu and locate the license information section in the information displayed in the About window. This should show your valid license.
Determining License Validity
To determine whether you have a valid license on the computer prior to or during installation, run the adTempus License Manager, which will be installed if you are upgrading from an older version. Ensure that your license is listed and that the Maintenance End date is later than the release date for the version you are installing.
You can also review your licenses in the license management portal of our web site. This will indicate the latest (newest) version of the software that your license is valid for.
Refreshing Licenses
If the License Manager shows an expired Maintenance Date, choose the License>Refresh Licenses command from the main menu in the License Manager. This will refresh the data if the computer has an internet connection.
If the computer does not have an internet connection you will need to download and import an updated license file for the computer. See the licensing help for more information.
