Symptoms

If a report contains one or more parameters that are not used anywhere in the report, report processing fails with the error "Invalid parameter name." This error occurs even if you have not specified values for the unused parameters in Report Commander.

Cause

This is due to a limitation of the Crystal Reports runtime components that Report Commander uses to process reports.

Workaround

Remove the unused parameters from your report.
