Summary

When a program is scheduled to run under a user account, the Scheduler reports that the program could not be started. In the Event Log, the Scheduler reports the error noted above.

This error generally indicates that the Arcana Scheduler service has been changed to run under a user account. Using the Services applet in the Control Panel, check the Startup Options for the Arcana Scheduler service and ensure that the service is configured to use the Local System account, not a user account.

To function correctly, the Arcana Scheduler service must be configured to run under the Local System account. To run scheduled program sunder a user account, use the Owner settings for the program in the Schedule Administrator.
