All of our products run in evaluation mode for 30 days if installed without a license. If you need to extend your evaluation beyond this initial period, you can do so by requesting a temporary license file.

Please be aware that the licensing system tracks the number of temporary licenses issued to you, and the number of temporary licenses that will be issued to you is limited.

If the computer running the software has an Internet connection

The easiest way to get a temporary license is to run the License Manager tool (installed with the software and found on the Start menu). In the License Manager, choose the Get temporary license option from the License menu and then follow the instructions. Leave the License Account Number empty when prompted.

If the computer running the software does not have an Internet connection

If the computer running the software does not have an Internet connection, you can generate a temporary license file that you can download and transfer to the computer.

Host ID Required

This product uses a host-locked licensing system, which means that the license is keyed to a particular computer. You will need to know the Host ID for each computer for which you are requesting a license.

To find the Host ID for a computer, run the License Manager from the program's group on the start menu.

Then select Host Information from the Tools menu.

Depending on the product and product version, the Host Information window will display either the Host Computer Name or Host ID.

The value from this window must be entered below. Be sure to enter the value exactly as it appears in the window. If the name or ID is entered incorrectly, the license will not work on the computer.
