Adtempus Test Environment

Hi,

 

I have restored a production adTempus database into a test environment server.

Then I installed the adTempus on this server and now I am wondering how to make this adTempus installed on this test environment can have the database of the restored version set up.

Can someone help me?

I tried to change the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcana Development\adTempus\Instances\Default\Database but the service does not star.

 

Is there any article that can help me to restore this prod environment for test purpose?

When the service cannot start it will log a message in the Application log in the Event Viewer telling you why. See this article for troubleshooting. I'm guessing your problem is that adTempus thinks the database belongs to another instance. If that's the case, you need to tell it to reset the ownership information for the database copy. See this help topic for more information and use the "resetidentity" startup option for the service.
