Condition on a file from another machine

I created a condition on the existence of a file on another system. I specified the filename as UNC. However, the condition never seemed to be met.

\\OTHER\D$\the\dir\file.txt

It appears that if the User Account specified for the job does not have permission to access the directory, that it will simply not see the file and wait. There is no error message that the User Account does not have permission to see the file. Is this correct?

adTempus 3 does not report errors it encounters while checking File Conditions--if the check fails for any reason, it just treats it as condition not met and continues waiting.

adTempus 4 report the status of each condition (including any errors that occur while checking it) problems like this on the Conditions page of the instance properties window. If the check fails due to permission problem it will also log an error message to the Job Log.
