Do all job failures have to be acknowledged?

Can a job be setup so that a failure need not be acknowledged?

If a job failure must be acknowledged, what happens if the failure is not acknowledged?  Does it automatically kick off at its next scheduled execution time?

There is no way to configure a job to not require failure acknowledgment.

The unacknowledged failure doesn't have any impact on job execution. It is just a visual alert that the job has a failure. If you do not acknowledge it, all that happens is that it stays in the failed jobs view and the job keeps the failure icon. You can just use the acknowledge all button on the failed jobs view to acknowledge everything at once if you don't want to review particular jobs.
