No one has asked for this before but you're the second person this week and we have it in the works now. We're hoping to have this available within a few days.

There is now a build that targets .NET 6 (or newer). It's available from NuGet (the package also contains the .NET Framework 4.8 version). This is still marked as a prerelease build, so if you don't see it in your search/feed, make sure it's showing prereleases.
