I'm migrating Report Commander to a new server, and when I try to run the Command-Line Builder, I get this error message:

---------------------------Crystal Reports---------------------------

An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime.

Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly.

Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required.  Please go to www.businessobjects.com/support for more information.

---------------------------OK   ---------------------------

The new server is running Windows Server 2008 64-bit.  I'm able to run Crystal Reports directly with no errors.

Have you seen this before?  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Try launching it as Administrator, if it's not already prompting you for elevation when you run it (can't remember offhand whether it does).

If that doesn't help try uninstalling and reinstalling Report Commander. Make sure you are using the latest version when you reinstall.

Thanks!  Installing the latest version worked.  I'm on a 64-bit OS, so it didn't recognize my license at first, but I found the answer to that in the knowledge base.
