I was evaluation the Report Commander for a possible subscription but upon using it, I encountered an error saying "Could not create log file".

Hi, Lawrence. If you are in the Project Editor and have not saved your project yet, save it and then try running the report again. By default the project writes a log file to the project path, and if you haven't saved the project yet that defaults to the program path, where you don't have permission to write files.
If that is not the problem, please open a support case so we can help you directly.

I did the above solution and I got this error after "Export Failed: Access to the path " " is denied.

Edit your Output Task (export) and give it a valid path/filename to export to (in the Name box).
