Symptoms

When you open a text edit window in the adTempus Console (the window that allows you to insert Job Variables into text fields), the following error message is displayed:

ADT000000E: Could not compile script library InlineFunctions: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Cause

This problem only happens if you are using a Console-Only installation of adTempus (a computer where the Console is installed but the adTempus server is not).

It occurs because the installer fails to include a necessary component when you perform a Console-Only installation.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, copy the file "ArcanaDevelopment.adTempus.EntityCore.dll" from the adTempus program folder on your adTempus server into the adTempus program folder on the computer where you are running the Console. Then restart the adTempus Console.
