No problem

Minor/Cosmetic

The problem does not cause a failure, does not impair usability, and the desired processing results are easily obtained by ignoring or working around the defect.

Average

The problem does not result in a failure, but causes the application to produce incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent results, or the defect impairs the system's usability.

Major

A software failure or installation problem that affects the operation of a mission-critical application or system.

Critical

A software failure or installation problem that prevents operation of a mission-critical application or system. No workaround is available and an immediate resolution is required.

This severity is only available if you have a support agreement that offers this level of support. We will contact you within the timeframe specified in your support agreement. Do not select this severity unless you are available to work through the issue with us. (If you're going home for the day, it's not a critical issue.)
