Download
Use the download button below to download Report Commander. You may evaluate the
software for up to 30 days without purchasing a license.
Current Version: 1.5
Report Commander version 1.5 adds support for formatting strings in date/time parameters for reports. These formatting strings
allow you to automatically use the current date (or other dates derived from the current date). For example, you can configure
Report Commander to automatically pass yesterday's date to your report each time you run it, without having
to modify the Report Commander options each day.
Other changes in version 1.5:
- A fix for the licensing problem on 64-bit platforms (KB article K00000360)
- A new option to suppress print/export for empty reports
- A new option to create bookmarks for PDF exports
- A new option to log Report Commander messages to a log file in addition to the console
For licensed users, this is a free upgrade: your current Report Commander license can be used for this version.
Crystal Reports 2008 Users: If you install Report Commander on a computer where Crystal Reports 2008 is installed this may break your Crystal Reports installation. See here for more information.
Functionality and Support Limitations
Report Commander is dependent on software components provided by Business Objects
(the makers of Crystal Reports). This dependency limits our ability to offer new
features and resolve many issues. More information.
Evaluation Version Limitations
If you do not have a license for Report Commander, you may evaluate Report Commander
for free for up to 30 days. In evaluation mode, Report Commander will display an
evaluation reminder dialog box each time it is run. If you want to test Report Commander
in an automated environment, you can obtain a
temporary license to eliminate the evaluation dialog.
