It is very helpful to be able to see "processor time" in the job instance information. But I am wondering what it actually means.

We have a job that has been running 1h55m, but processor time still indicates 0s.

Process Explorer shows that the job has five (5) children. One is getting 30% of the CPU and another is getting 25% of the CPU.

Is "Processor Time" not updated until the job ends? This is on adTempus 4.3.

See here for more information on the Processor Time metric. The processor time is updated for each step (and the job total) when the task (step) finishes. This value is reported to adTempus by Windows, and I believe it only counts the main process that adTempus directly launches--if your program spawns other processes, their times are not included.
