Overview

adTempus 2.1 is the final supported version in the adTempus 2.x branch. See the Release Notes for information about the changes in this release.

System Requirements

adTempus can be installed on computers running any of the following operating systems:

Windows 2000. Requires service pack 2 or later (see http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp2/?gssnb=1 to download). All editions are supported.
Windows XP. Windows XP Professional is supported. Other editions (Home, Tablet, Media Center) are not supported. 64-bit versions are not supported.
Windows 2003 Server. All 32-bit editions supported. 64-bit versions are not supported.

Windows NT 4.0 is no longer supported by Arcana Development. Versions of adTempus through 2.0.4 function without know issues on Windows NT 4.0; customers may install adTempus on NT 4.0 at their own risk. Arcana Development no longer tests its software on this platform, and will not provide support for issues that are or may be related to running the software on Windows NT 4.0.

Instructions

If you are not using your own database server to support adTempus, you also need to download and install SQL Server Desktop Edition for adTempus (MSDE). MSDE should be installed before you install adTempus.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of adTempus, do not remove your existing version first. The setup program will upgrade the existing installation. If you have a license for an earlier version of adTempus, that license is valid for this version.

Additional Information

License and Evaluation Information

This is the full retail version of the adTempus software, which can also function as an evaluation version.

If you do not have a license for adTempus, the software will operate for 30 days in evaluation mode. All of the features of adTempus will be available during this evaluation. After 30 days adTempus will no longer function and you will need to purchase a license.

If you have purchased a license, see the instructions you received with your license for information on "installing" that license so that adTempus will recognize it.
